About this wine:
This Catalan word refers to the many shepherds' huts that surround our vineyards and that are constructed from the local slate. This name is a strong evocation of our poor local pastoral tradition. Made froma simple blend of Roussanne and Grenache Blanc and a touch of Grenache Gris, Les Orris blanc spends a year on lees in 50% new oak. It has gorgeous notes of dried pineapple, brioche, white flowers and some exotic herbs. The flow is toward a medium to full-bodied beauty with ripe texture. A classy white that has nicely integrated oak, good acidity and a terrific finish.
