Welcome to Tequendama Wines, where the majestic spirit of the Tequendama waterfall meets the timeless artistry of winemaking. Inspired by the beauty and mystery of Colombia's iconic cascade, our vineyard in Tupungato brings together the best of both worlds—lush Andean terroirs and a passion for excellence. Our exceptional Merlots have earned multiple prestigious awards and consistently obtain the highest scores by wine experts, a testament to the dedication and craftsmanship poured into every bottle.
Hand-harvested from a 70-year-old canopy vineyard, the clusters are carefully selected before being sent to the winery. There, they ferment in steel tanks and age in French oak barrels for at least 18 months. As an aging wine, our philosophy is to bring it to market when it has reached its optimal point for consumption, ensuring that it retains its ability to evolve for several more years.
Each wine is a journey, crafted with care and respect for nature, echoing the harmony between earth, water, and vine. Every wine gives a unique feeling, whether to bring back your grandmother’s kitchen aromas or to give butterflies in the palate, so let your senses decide what it is.
Discover wines as unique as the story they tell, bridging two extraordinary lands in every sip.
