About this wine:
This Malbec comes from the Canota Valley in Las Heras, where its soils are older than the Andes themselves. Very dry terroir, this area is considered desertic. 22 miles from Mendoza the vines are irrigated with spring water and harvested manually. Fermented with native yeasts, it spends 16 months in French oak barrels for various uses and a couple of years in the bottle before going on the market. Top notes of herbs and dark plumbs, this wine is very balanced with elegant acidity, full body and long finish. Only 450 bottles were made.
