Material
❖ Merlot 70% Malbec 30% from Finca Vidal at 1050 mts (3400 ft) altitude.
❖ Merlot Grapes selected from a 65-year-old canopy-type vineyard, and Malbec from a 30-year-old vineyard. Hand-picked in 15 Kg. cases during the third week of March 2019.
❖ Dry spring and summer with ideal thermal amplitude favor the concentration of aromas and ideal acidity.
Vinification
❖ Fermentation with 15% full clusters.
❖ Aged for six months in French oak barrels – second and third use
❖ Production 1000 bottles.
Alcohol: 14.7%
Tasting Notes
❖ Bright ruby color.
❖ Intense and complex on the nose, with aromas of red and black ripe fruits and some violet notes.
❖ The palate is full-bodied, the Malbec adding richness and depth with flavors of spices and fresh red and black fruits.
❖ Smooth tannins and bright-fresh acidity add elegance and balance to a long finish.
Serving Recommendations
❖ Suggested serving temp. 58–65°F (18°C)
❖ Decant at least one hour before serving.
❖ Natural cork, use a two-blade corkscrew.
