Description
Monte Nero gets it’s name from the view of Forca Real Hill as seen from
Perpignan. Planted on the hills surrounding Forca Real Hill, Domaine
Boucabeille uses organic practices, avoids plowing to protect the microbial life
of the soil and schist, and both hand prunes and harvests so as not to compact
the soils. This Monte Nero punches way above it’s weight, delivering an elegant
GSM that is well balanced and has a long finish. It’s complex nose sends you off
with cherries, licorice and spice, landing with silk, tobacco and peppery notes
on the palette, this medium bodied star can be drunk alone or with food.
